Simple garter stitch jacket to knit for child aged 8years up to 14 years.

Knit this in your favourite DK/8ply.

Yarn requirements will vary depending on the yarn chosen to complete this jacket.

As a rough guide, based on basic pure wool 8ply:

8yrs:    Shade A  4 x 50gm balls,    Shade B  7 x 50gm balls

10yrs:   Shade A  5 x 50gm balls,    Shade B  8 x 50gm balls

12yrs:   Shade A  5 x 50gm balls,    Shade B  9 x 50gm balls

14 yrs:  Shade A  6 x 50gm balls,    Shade B  11x 50 gm balls

You will also need:

• 3.75mm and 4mm needles
• 4(4,5,5) buttons
